Our people
It’s easy to fill an About page with certifications, partner badges and technical achievements. They’re important, and we’re proud of them. But they don’t really tell you what it’s like to work with us.
What makes Sweet Potato Tec different is the people behind the technology. People who enjoy solving problems, who ask questions before offering solutions, and who are happy to challenge an idea if they believe there’s a better way forward.

Who We Are
of our workforce is female. Not a target — simply how we grew.
Our beginning
When Sweet Potato Tec was founded, there wasn’t a grand plan to become the biggest consultancy or the loudest voice in the Salesforce ecosystem. The ambition was much simpler.
Technology projects should leave organisations in a better place than they found them.
That sounds obvious, but it doesn’t always happen. Many organisations invest in new systems only to discover they’ve inherited something that’s harder to use, more complicated to manage or simply doesn’t fit the way they actually work.
We’ve always believed there’s a better way — and those ideas shaped the business when we started, and still shape it today.
We take the time to understand the organisation, then ask the difficult questions when they are needed.
Not the technology. The simplest solution that delivers the biggest impact usually wins.
Clients tell us the conversations are as valuable as the technology itself. We take that as a compliment.
No lengthy lock-ins. Organisations stay with us because they keep evolving and want us alongside them.
Diversity
One of the things we’re genuinely proud of is the team we’ve built. Around 60% of our workforce is female. That wasn’t the result of a recruitment target or a company initiative — it’s simply how the business has grown over the years.
What matters far more than the number itself is what it represents. We’ve built a team with different backgrounds, different experiences and different ways of looking at problems. That diversity leads to better discussions, stronger ideas and more rounded decisions.
It also creates an environment where people are comfortable challenging each other, sharing ideas and continuing to learn. We think our clients benefit from that every day.
Always learning
One of the reasons we enjoy this industry so much is because it never stands still. Salesforce evolves. AI evolves. Our clients evolve. If we stood still, we’d quickly stop being useful.
Learning isn’t something we set aside for the occasional training session. Our teams regularly share ideas, test new technologies and challenge each other’s thinking because that’s how we continue improving.
Always learning
We ask a lot of questions before we talk about platforms or solutions.
Sometimes the answer is exactly what you expected. Sometimes we suggest something simpler.
Some of our clients have worked with us for many years. Not because they’re tied into lengthy contracts, but because their organisations continue to evolve and they’ve chosen to keep us alongside them.
Of course we’ll deliver the project in front of you, but we’re usually thinking about what comes next as well. Technology shouldn’t stand still once it’s been implemented, and neither should the relationship with the people supporting it.
Since 2014 we’ve supported charities, media organisations, event businesses, financial services firms and technology companies across the UK and internationally. We’re proud to be a Salesforce Partner, proud of the expertise we’ve built and proud of the projects we’ve delivered. But if we’re honest, we’re proudest of something much simpler — the fact that so many organisations trust us enough to come back.
